Your description of the William Street Laneway Festival reads like poetry.
I am honoured and very encouraged by your inspiring comments to thrive to recreate a similar feeling for our next event.
William Street Paddington ( the official) is on FB.
I would like to encourage you to write your experience there as well.
I am sure all the retailers are going to be very appreciative and hopefully the visitors that came along on that day are encouraged to share their experiences too.

A belated thanks for the invite to the William St Laneway Festival.

It was such a great event:
the creativity, colourful charm and warmth of established small businesses throwing a party for the public
with all those divine shoes, bags, dresses, jewels, …
and games in the street
and refreshments of all manners
and gifts
and talking to inspiring designers
and the musicians
and discounts (!)

It was a party, even though I purchased, it was the aimless wandering down the lane filled with fun & polished craziness that I remember.

P.S.
Your photography is as fantastic as your stock!
Makes me want to visit very very soon to see what you have in store that I cannot live without.

Pelle holds very special memories for me. I will never forget the first day I met Monica and her cat. It was the year 2000, still at Uni, on a shopping day with my girlfriends and I bought my very first pair of Ferragamo boots. I was so excited that day and remember wearing them out for the very first time and felt like a million dollars. I still own and love the boots. That day set a very high standard in my wardrobe and It was from that moment, that a very romantic expensive affair commenced with designer shoes.

Absolutely LOVE some of the new shoes that are pictured in this Blog. Also, thank you so much Pelle, for selling my gorgeous Viktor & Rolf Patent Wedges. Was sad to let them go, but am looking forward to the pay!
